About

“I act as an interface between the institutions, agencies or curators and my network of artists, technologists and craftsmen.”

For almost 20 years i have specialized in curating, producing and delivering projects exploring new formats of experience and new forms of narrative: scenographic, installation and performance experiences  - largescale or intimate - taking place in the public space, museums or on a stage. Hybrid formats often combining tailored technology with 21st century craftmanship to form a space where the physical and the digital, the tangible and the virtual all meet & collide.

With an understanding of the creative, technological and production requirements behind experiential works, I act as an interface between the institutions, agencies or curators and my network of artists, technologists and craftsmen.

From original idea to implementation i carefully assess and accompany the delivery of challenging projects.

Above all, I enjoy working with singular voices I admire greatly, pioneer artists exploring beyond the limits. I enjoy bringing these powerful works to contrasting contexts and diverse audiences worldwide, whether it be at a heritage site, a dark room or in the middle of a desert.

A few dates

“working independently alongside artists”

2000: Active in the music industry in Paris, working in PR (Ninja Tune, K7!) and vinyl distribution (Leaf, Mille Plateaux, Def Jux, Sub Pop, Constellation..)

2007: Alongside artists Joanie Lemercier, Yannick Jacquet, Romain Tardy and Olivier Ratsi I co-founded the international visual label Antivj, which has played a significant role in the rise of digital and media art in the early 2000’s.
As producer, agent and head of the label i have managed the artists, productions, exhibitions and shows: overseeing client liaison, content production, technical direction, contracting, and on-site delivery.

2010: Mécaniques Discursives - a poetic and subversive visual quest bringing into dialogue wood engraving and contemporary digital creation. To date the many different formats of the project total over 90 unique exhibitions throughout the world.

2016: The Spatial Sound Institute explores the artistic, scientific and physiological potentials of spatial sound. For 3 years I was on the advisory board selecting artists for residencies and discussing Sonic Architecture, Human Space Interaction Design, Physiology and Psychology of Listening and Spatial Memetics.

2024: Launching Interval, a new structure initiating artist led projects focused on the dialogue between handcrafted graphic arts - at large - and contemporary digital creation. Interval specialises in staging ideas (and images) on the walls of cities and museums, in collaboration with institutions and agencies alike.
